HEE launches new learning pathway for health & care staff in Care Home settings
Health Education England e-Learning for Healthcare (HEE e-LfH) has recently added a new learning pathway for health and care staff in Care Home settings to its e-learning programme designed to help the health and care workforce respond to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The programme entitled ‘Resources for Nurses, Midwives and AHPs Returning to work, being Redeployed or Up-Skilled’ includes specific learning pathways for various groups.
The Covid-19 programme is free to access for the UK health and care workforce, without the need to register. If staff wish to record their learning activity against their user account, they will need to either login or register here.

e-LfH Learning resources for Nurses deployed into primary and community care
The learning resources contain essential training materials to support Registered Nurses returning to work or being redeployed into a primary and community setting. This includes, GP surgeries, community and care home settings. The resources introduce the essential core information required prior to developing minimum bridging competencies for community nursing.

Following the successful introduction of the pan London Practice Assessment Document (PAD), the Pan London Practice Learning Group (PLPLG) is moving forward with a project to move this from paper to an online solution. The previously validated PAD has not been changed; it’s is simply moving the assessment forms and process to a fully online solution that will have many benefits for students, practice staff and universities. It can be used via an app available for smart phones and tablets, as well as online from any laptop or PC with internet access.
