Covid-19 Information Guidelines

In light of the recent surge of Covid-19 cases, below is an updated Information pack on how you can go about getting your first, Second and Booster vaccination this winter.

How to get your Booster Vaccine

Cases of Covid and new strain Omicron are again rising (number is doubling every 2 to 2.5 days).  We are currently required to significantly increase the vaccination programme. This will once again see us needing to deviate all NWL CCG from the usual activity and priorities on increasing capacity to enhance Covid vaccine uptake, particularly booster dose.

It is really important you come forward for your booster vaccine, two doses are not enough, you will need a booster this winter for further protection. If you have not yet had a first/second vaccination make sure you come forward to start your course of vaccinations. It’s not too late. I attached an updated vaccine leaflet on booster, where to get your vaccine, Vaccine FAQ and choose the right NHS service for you

The national booking system is currently open for those over 30 who are 3 months beyond their second dose, click here:

Details of all our walk-in services, where you can have your Covid-19 vaccination be found here

NHS app - COVID-19 boosters now show in the NHS COVID Pass. You can get your COVID Pass for free from the NHS App or on

Just a gentle reminders that:

· Contact and self-isolation - fully vaccinated contacts of someone with COVID-19 should take rapid lateral flow tests every day for 7 days. If you test positive or develop symptoms, you need to self-isolate for 10 days.

· Face coverings - face coverings are now compulsory in shops and on public transport. All hospitality settings will be exempt but face masks are encouraged in all crowded places.

Wish you all stay well and safe.

Updated guidance for households with possible Covid-19 infection:

- Updated guidance for households with possible Covid-19 infection. The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) recently updated the guidance for households with possible or confirmed Covid-19 infection. The update clarifies that contacts who are legally required to self-isolate (including contacts of suspected or confirmed Omicron cases) must complete their isolation period even if they test negative during that period. The government also published the final report into Covid-19 disparities, which sets out how government research identified the key virus risk factors; such as occupation, household size and wider living circumstances, for specific groups.
